About Us :

We are HBI Canada and we are the Canadian office for RAW rolling papers, Elements, Juicy Jays, Kingpin, and much, much more.

Check our website (www.hbicanada.com). Our company is a large wholesaler of Roll-Your-Own products (rolling paper, hemp wraps, rolling accessories).

We're a small tight group with about 25 office employees. Our work environment is very positive and team-oriented. We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team and lead our technology initiatives to support our growth and efficiency.

Position Overview :

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT department, managing technology projects, and ensuring the optimal functioning of our IT infrastructure.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance productivity and security.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provides onsite assistance and first-line technical support for all staff and departments.
  • Monitors performance on hardware, systems, and applications.
  • Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error-reporting systems.
  • Website updates such as general updates & the regular maintenance of the site.
  • Work on any new projects as assigned.
  • Provide support for stakeholder requests, analyze problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware, and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and test all new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Troubleshoot LAN / WAN and connectivity issues.
  • Develop reference and training materials and provide end-user training.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee network security, data management, and system administration.
  • Manage software and hardware procurement, installation, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics and report on progress and challenges.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT management or related roles.
  • Strong competence in the Microsoft Ecosystem (Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, SQL, Exchange, Desktop, and Server OS), computer hardware / software, networking, and server rooms.
  • Deep understanding of Windows Servers.
  • Deep experience with RMM Software.
  • Solid problem-solving, researching, and troubleshooting skills coupled with a willingness to listen, learn, share, and improve.
  • Strong awareness of IT security and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work, prioritize, and make decisions independently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • A self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work independently as well as with the team.
  • SAP, Produmex, Network +, CCNA, and other IT industry-standard certifications would be an asset.
