The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 23,000, provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.

General Description of Duties :

Ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period at Elementary and Secondary Schools.

Minimum Requirements :

18 years of age or over;

Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada

Desirable Assets :

Experience working with children

• Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties;
• Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with students, parents, staff and the general public;
• Ability to work as a team player;

Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

Salary Range : $24.20 - $25.46 per hour, Level 1 (Compensation Grid effective September 1, 2023)

Hours of Work : 1 hour per day between the hours of 11 : 00am to 1 : 30pm (Monday to Friday)

Effective Date : As soon as possible

Weeks / Year : Approx. 41 weeks / year (September - June)
