On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Scientist.
Data Scientist Job Description
This position is responsible for providing project specific information to their partnered bank department
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytic solutions for the project stakeholders
Developing analytic solutions for project stakeholders
Data Cleaning, Processing and Modeling through the use of Python, SQL and Power BI
The position will be responsible for model development based on project needs
Communicating regularly with management regarding status updates
Engage with different teams across the organization - i.e., internal stakeholders to understand and articulate analytic requirements
Data Scientist Mandatory Skills
3-5 Years of experience in a Data Scientist position
Ability to develop advanced analytical solutions based on business requirements
Strong familiarity with Python and SQL, hands-on experience working with Big Data and various data formats
Previous experience with data cleaning, processing and visualization
Previous experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, data pipeline and model development
Communication Skills
Relationship building skills
Post-Secondary Education is required but would be preferred in a related field
