GFL Environmental is expanding and evolving our talent recruitment strategies. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager, Recruitment Field Operations to lead our field hiring initiatives across Canada.

Your Impact :
Talent Recruitment and Team Leadership : Drive the recruitment process and mentor the recruitment team to maximize their potential.
Update and innovate recruitment strategies to enhance efficiency from candidate attraction to hiring.
Strategic Collaboration and Process Improvement : Work closely with Talent Operations to enhance recruitment tools and processes.
Regularly update and improve recruitment metrics to optimize hiring practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Training : Partner with department managers to forecast hiring needs and provide ongoing support and training to hiring managers on best recruitment practices.
- Brand and Network Development : Amplify GFL’s market presence by empowering the team to leverage partnerships as well as develop talent attraction strategies to engage talent and increase brand visibility.
- Compliance and Best Practices : Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, maintaining full compliance across all recruitment activities.
Participate in career events and job fairs to promote GFL as an employer of choice.
You have :
- 5+ years of experience in Recruitment Management or a related senior role, with a strong background in high-volume hiring.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage both entry-level and senior recruitment staff.
- Expertise in using Applicant Tracking Systems and familiarity with HR databases (Workday).
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation and best practices in recruitment.
- Forge in-person partnerships with field operations across Canada.
