AWS is looking for an experienced technical leader for a Solutions Architecture team based in Canada. As a Manager of the team, within Amazon Web services (AWS), you will lead a team delivering customer success with our top SI, GSI, and ISV partners.

This is a management position for someone who can develop and manage a team of top technical talent, establish relationships and set strategy at a senior level with Partner leaders and AWS internal teams, measure and deliver results, and also get involved in enabling and driving thought leadership.

We are looking for someone who possesses the deep technical skills as well as customer facing skills that will enable you to represent AWS supporting customers and partners.

You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, enterprise workloads, and new technology platforms and architectures.

Understanding of AWS Technologies is desired but not required. You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior engineers at both strategic partners and AWS service teams.

  • Own the technical strategy that will increase customer experience and adoption of Linux partner technologies on AWS.
  • Lead and set the technical strategy with AWS product teams.
  • Act as a conduit and liaison between partners, customers, service engineering teams and support teams.

Up to 30% travel is required.

We value innovation and recognize this sometimes requires uninterrupted time to focus on a build. We also value in-person collaboration and time spent face-to-face.
