The opportunityEY is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Technology Assurance team. This professional will manage engagement teams and assist clients in employing information systems and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.

The successful candidate will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the internal control process, and assist clients in performing IT control and security engagements.

Your key responsibilitiesParticipate in both internal and external audit services, including IT related audit procedures in support of financial statement audits.

Focus on providing an opinion on management’s assertion over business processes and controls including IT General Controls.

Manage internal / external audit engagements / projects and identify opportunities to improve service offerings.Lead on-site coordination for audit clients, including planning and communicating with clients.

Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service.Prepare IT external audit reports on the adequacy and effectiveness of control structures.

Discuss and resolve audit issues and recommendations with client management.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations.

Lead and provide support to teams of senior consultants and consultants, including delivering IT Audit related training.Skills and attributes for successStrong skills in project management and engagement closure.

Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.Experience interacting with clients at all levels.

To qualify for the role you must haveA minimum of 10 years of experience in IT external and / or internal audit.Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, or other relevant program.

Relevant accounting / audit designation(s) (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) required.Fluency in French and English is required.Plus Skills for the roleKnowledge of COBIT, ITIL, or other IT frameworks.
