Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Web Developer + Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both creating and maintaining our websites and generating engaging, high-quality content.
This role requires a blend of technical web development skills and a knack for compelling storytelling.
Key Responsibilities :
Web Development :
- Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement website designs and development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and best practices.
Content Writing :
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Conduct research to ensure content is accurate, informative, and engaging.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply them to content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Nice to Have :
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
- Previous experience in digital marketing or SEO.
