The Test Engineer Intern will support the Mississauga operations. You will enjoy a stimulating and challenging work environment with opportunities to develop skills while working in a highly motivated team.

Good Engineering technical aptitude
Basic manufacturing system knowledge
Ability to read and interpreted engineering drawings and electrical schematics
Understanding of basic test equipment and interface requirements
Familiar with electrical measurement equipment
Exposure to test software and firmware
Ability to document observations and work with teams to formulate solutions
Self-aware and understand the role of a change agent
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Organized, ability to deliver on commitments
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI)
Advanced knowledge of structured programming techniques (Object Oriented programming, Visual Basic, C++, C#, Python)
Knowledge of MATLAB, LabView, Google Script
Data analysis capabilities

Test system development and specification verification
Test equipment maintenance
Support troubleshooting complex electronic circuits and systems
Developing and updating test documentation
Continuous process improvement
Application software development
Review test data acquisitions, analyses and reports
Developing test fixtures, interfaces and special tools for engineering and production
Test Cell design and layout support
Work and communicate with other functional teams to support Test Engineering
Physical Demands
Work performed in a normal office environment
May require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (eg. Data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc )
Ability to safely lift 30lbs unassisted

Education : Currently enrolled in a University internship / co-op program, completing 3rd year in a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program of Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering and / or Mechatronics Engineering.
