What do you bring?
Canadian Payroll Association - CPA is an asset
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- Payroll system knowledge
- Experience with year and month end
- Tax experience with different provinces
- Canadian payroll
- Problem solving skills required
- Able to engage with multiple projects
- Experience with collective agreements, in multi-jurisdictional environment, is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fully bilingual French and English
What will you be doing?
Responsible for maintaining payroll system
- End to end processing
- Lead government reconciliation reporting / payments
- Provide payroll expertise to the team (tax, best practices, legislation)
- Lead internal projects
- Audit payroll processing to ensure year-end accuracy
- Provide advice on routine as well as complex payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and collective agreement
- Manage process improvement, modifications, updates, and enhancement in technology to ensure optimal performance in the delivery of payroll services
