Oakville - Light General Labor - Afternoon shift

We are looking for a great General Laborer to join our awesome team with excellent training on the afternoon shift in our fun and growing company in Oakville!!!

Afternoon shift but training will be on the day shift for the first week or two.

This is a temp to perm position so we are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow!

In this position, you may be carrying out numerous general labour activities such as cleaning and tagging parts for shipment, material handling and some assembly.

You will be trained on using the overhead crane to do all the heavy lifting for you!

The Trainers and Supervisors are fantastic and will teach you everything you need to know!

Responsibilities

• Material Handling
• General Labour
• Lifting up to 20 lbs
• Wiping the pipes down and ensuring they are ready to be sent out
• Washing the pipes and parts down when they are finished in production
• Trained on overhead crane
• Could help in assembly
• Other general labour duties as required

Qualifications

• Able to clear a criminal background check
• Comfortable reading and writing
• Comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
• Prepared to be trained to do several tasks
• Great attitude
• Steel-toed shoes required
