Sales Engineer - Guelph/Kitchener

Position Description

• and sales professional, specializing in providing technical products and solutions to a wide range of industries
• market share, sales and active buying customer base by working closely with ifm sales team to leverage local relationships and application success.
• with customer and potential customers to learn about their business, the products they make and the initiatives they have for improvement.

• on end users and OEMs in order to identify areas of possible cost savings and projects in all kinds of industries

• relationships with Key Decision Makers by being a strategic partner and advisor to the customer, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.
• and technically savvy, creative, and with an excellent understanding of customer’s business. Able to identify possible challenges, he / she focuses on finding opportunities and get the support from the technical team such as FTSE (Field Technical Sales Engineer) and the Product Support Team.

• communicate with customers using digital media such as web conferences, & phone calls.

Requirements

• years proven sales experience, preferably in industry automation or manufacturing
• or Electrical engineering degree is an asset.
• knowledge related to the application of sensors, instrumentation, automation and networking solutions (IOT).
• ability to identify, qualify and close key prospect accounts with KDMs
• mechanical aptitude.
• selling systems and software an asset.
• verbal and written communication skills
• with a high sense of urgency to be a collaborative business partner.
• to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• to work with various teams as well as independently.
• be fully fluent in English (written and oral). Bilingual in French is an asset.
• of a valid driver’s licence.
• entitled to work in Canada.
