Asa Charge Nurse you will take on a leadership role within thenursing team overseeing daily operations and ensuring highstandards of patient care.
Your expertise will be critical incoordinating nursing activities supporting staff and facilitatingeffective communication among healthcareproviders.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Leadand supervise nursing staff providing guidance support andmentorship to ensure optimal patientcare.
- Overseepatient assignments and ensure that care is delivered effectivelyand efficiently addressing any issues thatarise.
- Conductassessments monitor patient conditions and make clinical decisionsto enhance patientoutcomes.
- Facilitatecommunication between nursing staff physicians and other healthcareprofessionals to ensure coordinated patientcare.
- Participatein quality assurance initiatives adhering to protocols andstandards to maintain highqualitycare.
- Assistin the orientation and training of new nursing staff fostering aculture of continuous learning andimprovement.
- Actas a first responder to any emergencies within the unitimplementing appropriate interventions asneeded.
- Ensureaccurate and timely documentation of patient care activitiesassessments and outcomes in electronic health records(EHR).
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; an Associate s degree inNursing (ADN) is acceptable with relevantexperience.
- Validstate RN license and current CPRcertification.
- Previousexperience in a nursing role with at least one year in a leadershipor supervisory positionpreferred.
- Strongclinical skills leadership abilities and excellent communicationskills.
- Commitmentto providing compassionate patientcentered care while maintainingconfidentiality.
