Our client is a rapidly growing health tech company revolutionizing clinical medicine using tech. They are in a huge growth phase and are expanding their team by adding a Part-time Product Designer.
As a Part-time Product Designer (20 hours a week), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of their digital products.
You will collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, engineers, and nutrition experts to create impactful solutions that help their users achieve their health and wellness goals.
This position is hybrid / remote - downtown, Toronto.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Collaborate with engineers to translate user insights and business requirements
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs based on usability testing and data analysis.
- Champion best practices in mobile design, ensuring an optimal user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance product offerings.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Design or related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a product designer in web and mobile (iOS and Android) design
- A strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing mobile design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid understanding of UX / UI principles and best practices, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams.
- Passion for health, nutrition, and wellness is a plus.
