Position Description
The Senior Director of Product will lead the institutional product management team to define and deliver innovative data-driven products that meet the needs of corporate governance market and align with Glass Lewis’ strategic goals.
This role requires a proven track record of product development, deep understanding of the research and data industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure the successful development and launch of products.
You will have a high level of visibility throughout the organization working closely with commercial, research and technology teams as well as members of the executive team to realize the long-term product vision.
This position reports to the Head of Product.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals and market opportunities.
- Responsible for product commercial success and product profitability.
- Collaborate with customers, commercial and marketing teams, to understand client needs and translates them into key product features
- Collaborate with product ops, UX / UI, research and technology teams to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and performance to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the product portfolio.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in product management, particularly within the research, data, or analytics industries.
- Proven track record of managing complex products from concept through launch and iteration.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
This position reports to the Head of Product
Position location : This position is based in Toronto, Canada and will initially be fully remote. Future regular office attendance of 1-3 days will be required.
