Accountant - Hybrid - Downtown Toronto

Are you a skilled Accountant in the GTA that is available for work right away? Are you a self-starter with extensive experience with month-end, reconciliations and analysis?

If so, we have an exciting contract opportunity for you!

Randstad has partnered with a reputable organization in downtown Toronto, looking for an Accountant to join their team for the next 4-6 months with the potential to extend or become permanent.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of Accounting and Analysis experience, a strong understanding of month-end reconciliations and preferrably previous experience with Oracle and / or Coupa.

Responsibilities

Month-end account reconciliation with minimal supervision

Research and investigate transactions, resolve discrepancies

Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation

Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

Qualifications

Min. 3-5 years Accounting experience including month-end reconciliation and analysis

Ability to work onsite in Toronto 3-5 days per week

Knowledge of Oracle and / or Coupa is an asset
