RoleOverview

As a Business DevelopmentManager at ABGi Canada / Braithwaite you will report to the SalesManager with a focused territory of Vancouver and surrounding area.

Your objective will be to pursue new logos opportunities withinnovative companies meeting criteria. You will use your salesskills and lean on your ability to build longterm relationships tosupport our customers in grants and subsidies tax credits toachieve success.

In your role you will hunt new business 80% whilespending 20% of the time account managing and building out existingaccounts or partnerships or assisting with renewals.

You will bepartnered and supported by a legacy team of industry leaderscommitted to your success throughout your tenure.

This role will be Remote but will be tied to the Ontario office. Candidates must reside in the Vancouverarea

ADay In The Life (Responsibilities)

  • Generate leads bysoliciting the market and cultivating your own personal network andleveraging internal tools as needed
  • Maintainclose contact with consultants outside professionals andassociations to identify and develop business leads throughreferrals
  • Proactively manage territory throughnew business prospecting and management of existingaccounts.
  • Actively research and outreach totarget decision makers while selling creating meetings bothinperson and virtual and bringing the sales cycle to aclose.
  • Diagnose prospects business climatechallenges strategic needs and pain points and develop a real valueproposition to positively impact theirbusiness
  • Collaborate with senior leadership todevelop gotomarket strategies anddeliverables
  • Partner with internal consultingteam determine best in class value positioning and service toassist with current and futurecustomers

Requirements

  • Bachelorsdegree is required with a masters degree or abovepreferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience ofsales or business development in the consulting or professionalservices industry to the middle market
  • Provenexperience using a sales methodology to generate sales leads opendoors and manage the sales cycle to contractsigning;
  • Consultative sales experience at theexecutive level (C level)
  • Excellentcommunication skills (verbal and written) combined with stronglistening skills;
  • Previous experience workingwith a large consulting firm is a plus
  • Previousexperience selling or experience with SR&ED is aplus
  • Knowledge selling or working in thefinancial services industry is aplus
