Job Title : Senior Technical Business Analyst
Location : Edmonton, AB
Duration : 12-month Contract
Work Type : Remote , with occasional on-site meetings
About the Role :
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to critical projects within the Government Restructuring Process Analysis and Continuous Improvement initiative.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant change and optimize processes within a complex organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- User Persona Discovery : Conduct in-depth research to understand user needs and behaviors, and leverage insights to optimize M365 licensing and resource allocation.
- User Lifecycle Improvement : Lead initiatives to streamline user onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management processes.
Develop and implement effective training programs and engage with stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Government Restructuring : Analyze and update existing Government Restructuring processes to improve efficiency and clarity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and propose solutions.
- Request Management : Optimize request management processes, establish governance frameworks, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Business Analysis : Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Create detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, conduct effective workshops and meetings, and manage expectations.
- Technical Expertise : Possess a strong understanding of IT systems, processes, and methodologies. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven track record in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
- Strong understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with M365 licensing and user management is a plus
