Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Operations Training, the Manager, Operations Training is responsible for the management of the Learning Management System and the creation and maintenance of the core Team Member and Manager Training Library.
This individual will work cross functionally with key business stake holders to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging materials are deployed to facilitate the successful onboarding of new restaurant Team Members and Managers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop eLearning training to support the onboarding and ongoing training for restaurant learners, including national program, product, and procedural launches and / or changes
- Management of the Learning Management System, including design, user experience, troubleshooting and resource deployment
- Writes and reviews scripts and eLearning as aligned with key stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Completes needs analysis on training needs using sound principles to determine appropriate effective training approach
- Champions the training process to ensure timely, accurate, and thorough delivery of all materials to restaurant teams
- Works with vendors and other partners to ensure cost effective solutions to deliver effective training
- Works with cross functional teams to ensure correct intake of information, and approval / alignment across all key stakeholders.
Ensures programs, procedures, and product launches, changes and test markets have the appropriate training resources and support to ensure a success
Is a Tim Hortons Brand / Business Ambassador
Qualifications :
- 2+ years’ communication / training experience, background in operations a plus!
- University degree in communications, business, hospitality, education / adult education, instructional design or a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in instructional design, creating training content and materials, or communication
- Ability to establish and build effective relationships and to work collaboratively with others to set and achieve goals
- Ability to analyze and interpret information to identify issues and prescribe effective training solutions
- Strong project management skills, often management more than one project simultaneously
- Strong negotiation, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with a LMS is an asset
- Ability to write and speak French is an asset
