Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Provide and create training solutions that allow new assistants / associates to understand their roles and become more efficient, leverage the right resources, and contribute to their IA teams effectively using a variety of training mediums.

What will you do?

Host, manage and deliver multiple training programs virtually and in person

Develop additional innovative training offerings

Liaise with subject matter experts on professional development best practices

Collaborate with Branch Management Teams and the Training & Development Department to understand the learning needs of Branch teams and recommend areas where potential development may be needed

Role based in Ontario - GTA; some travel required

Report to the Manager, Learning & Development Specialist, in Wealth Management Training & Development

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves

Good knowledge of wealth management industry and industry products, operational requirements, and client / IA needs, including a comprehensive understanding of financial and investment management concepts.

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail is mandatory, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others and be perceived as a professional business partner and subject matter expert

Flexible in approaching all duties and assignments and shares best practices wherever possible

Comfortable with public speaking / presenting to groups and a strong commitment to client service excellence

Curiosity and a willingness to improve and innovate

Ability to effectively build relationships

Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-have :

3+ years in a support role on a Wealth Management / DS IA Team

Previous training / coaching experience

Post-Secondary Education
