Our client is one of the fastest growing asset-based 3PL company in Canada, providing specialized Fulfillment services on a national scale.

They are currently seeking an exceptional and results-driven individual to join our team as the Director of Fulfillment Operations

As the Director of Fulfillment Operations, you will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced Logistics environment, leveraging your strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and deep understanding of supply chain management.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage fulfillment operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service delivery throughout the organization.

Key qualifications for this role include a proven track record in driving operational efficiency, optimizing processes, and achieving business goals.

Your ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and guidance to the fulfillment team, setting clear objectives and performance targets to drive operational excellence.

Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Warehouse Management and Final Mile Delivery, to streamline processes and ensure smooth handovers at each stage of the supply chain.

Continuously assess and improve fulfillment operations by implementing best practices, technology solutions, and process enhancements to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation among the fulfillment staff, promoting professional development and empowering individuals to deliver their best work.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams, to proactively address any issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the fulfillment space.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate needs core warehouse, fulfillment and team leadership experience in 3PL or other supply chain firms.

Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a fast-paced fulfillment or logistics environment.

Deep understanding of warehouse management and logistics with 3-5 years experience managing a team

Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, processes, and best practices.

Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in relevant technology platforms and software applications.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
