Job Description
We are currently looking for a Junior to Intermediate team member to join our Supply Chain Commercial team, specializing in Subcontracts management.
As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with projects on inquiries related to commercial terms and sub-contracts support.
Some of your actions will include updating and negotiating NDA’s, pricing and amendments to existing contracts.
This position follows a Hybrid working model with a mix of home and on-site, expectation of 3 days in office a week.
- Assist in the initial project phase by managing NDAs, bailment agreements, and collateral agreements.
- Manage requests and inquires from the business and program teams
- Guide the preparation of critical documents such as Teaming Agreements, Letters of Intent, and Authorization to Proceed.
- Contribute to bid opportunity support by conducting due diligence investigations and collecting essential data.
- Work with management guidance to develop major subcontract elements in our commercial responses.
- Analyze facts, negotiate, and manage changes and closeouts under supervision.
- Develop negotiation strategies and validate financial and legal data.
- Act as a company spokesperson on commercial matters, summarizing final positions with minimal oversight.
- Produce commercial summary reviews of program status using various sources.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and vendors.
- Provide input on tools and reports for Supply Chain Management, and collaborate with other groups to enhance relationships, resolve issues, and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and research abilities, detail oriented
- Excellent customer service in order to support client groups and key business decision making
- Deliver clear, concise and professional communications
- Hands-on experience with MS Office applications
- Post-secondary degree in Business Commerce, Law or other related field
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
