POSITION SUMMARY
Manage the daily operation of the Accounts Receivable (AR) Department within NFI Parts Public side of the Business.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Manage the AR staff in WPG to ensure proper execution of all tasks are done and on time.
- Work with KY AR Manager to analyze and coordinate AR staff workload between KY / WPG / OH.
- Ensure all new staff is trained, and cross trained.
- Provide coaching and development of staff throughout the year.
- Provide yearly employee performance reviews (EPR) and new employee’s progress reviews (1 / 3 / 5 Month Review).
- Quarterly credit limits review on customers’ accounts to determine potential credit limit increase.
- Work with KY AR Manager to develop departmental processes and ensure they are being adhered to.
- Provide biweekly one on one meetings with AR Admin team members and review potential risks and possible escalation of accounts.
- Prepare quarter end reports for AR.
- Participate and work with Business Systems on Oracle project testing (CRFs related to AR).
- Act as a liaison with other departments regarding business flow and process development / refinements.
- Work with KY AR Manager on auditors’ requests, revenue recognition, and unclaimed property.
- Responsible for ensuring all key controls (ICFR) identified under their area of responsibility are designed and operating as outlined in the Internal Controls over financial reporting.
- Ensure policies and processes are adhered to, ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met including organizational Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety programs.
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is a plus.
- 5+ years of accounts receivable related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership skills and prior supervision experience is an asset.
- Oracle and Power BI preferred.
- Travel may be required.
