The Opportunity :
Our client, a government business enterprise, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Toronto, Ontario . As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in infrastructure development and maintenance projects by planning, organizing, and evaluating project activities.

What You’ll Be Responsible For :
- Creating business cases to support projects
- Coordinating and monitoring construction activities and providing status updates
- Overseeing project correspondence and preparing project related documents and reports
- Tracking projects schedule and ensuring the project is completed on time
- Issuing reports related to project progress, construction review and budget
- Managing consultants and contractors, including creating RFP’s, procurement, performance management and H&S compliance
- Evaluating proposals and bids
- Developing and evaluating monthly cash flows and schedules
The Ideal Candidate :
- Post-secondary education in civil engineering, construction, or related field.
- Project Management Certificate (PMP) or field engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience managing large scale construction projects
- Understanding of project delivery principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines
Complimentary Experience :
Bilingual in French & English would be considered a asset.
