Working closely with business leaders, application delivery teams and your peers, we are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our client.
In this role, you will be providing support to the organization by identifying business problems, optimizing business processes, configuring product requirements, and ultimately, driving the delivery

What You Will Do
The Business System Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the needs of the business. The Business
System Analyst will also apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to assist the business make good
technology decisions.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze insurance business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design, develop and implement business solutions
- Execute configuration changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve business and technical issues
- Create and maintain ticket documentation, including requirements, design, and test documents
- Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of business applications
- Provide training and support to end-users on insurance business systems and applications
- Participate in the development of new products and services

You are an experienced Technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst who approaches all situations with an
organized and curious mindset aimed at driving the best solution for the organization. You are a team player with a
positive attitude who thrives in a consensus culture with an emphasis on collaboration. You are a self-starter who is
excited by the opportunity to jump right in and can come up to speed quickly. You are comfortable working on a lean
team and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do the work that needs to be done.
Our new Business Systems Analyst will have :
Education and Experience :
- University degree (preferably in business administration, computer science, or engineering).
- 3-5+ years of experience in business analysis, business system analysis, developer, or project management.
- Postgres and / or msSQL experience
- IIBA or Project Management certification is an asset.
- Object-Oriented development experience is an asset
- Business process management experience is also beneficial.
- Experience with Guidewire or ISI is a major plus.
- Must have commercial insurance experience in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role.
Skills and Traits :
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Thought leadership and quick problem-solving.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability to change.
- Previous Commercial Insurance experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the ISI policy administration system is beneficial.
- Bilingual (English / French) proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
