Identifyand qualify sales targets and nurture leads Proactively initiatingand maintaining relationships with owners of software businesses byemail phone LinkedIn conferences / trade shows and in personmeetings.
Obtaining highlevel financial and operational informationabout target companies.
- Respond to inboundleads Understanding and articulating clients acquisition criteriaand unique value proposition to owners of target softwarebusinesses both verbally and in writing.
- Assistin M&A pipeline process Develop tailored messaging that engagescritical decisionmakers. Coordinate appointments (webinars inpersonmeetings event preparation etc.
Generating and reporting on leadssetting up qualified appointments and moving opportunities throughthe M&A pipeline.
- Mentoring and trainingjunior business developmentanalysts.
- Responding to adhoc requests in ahighpressure and timesensitive environment Conducting research toidentify and map out potentially attractive markets to pursue andsoftware companies to acquire.
Performing any other reasonableduties as required.
Demonstrating creativitypersistence and credibility in reaching out to Owners Operators andCSuite leadership.
Skills andExperience
- Excellentacademic performance in an undergraduate business or financedegree.
- Mergers and Acquisitions is a nice tohave
- 1 years of experience in a businessdevelopment / lead generation role ideally in a B2B softwareenvironment
- Ability to manage a pipeline ofleads and exceed prospecting target quotas. You are highlymetricsdriven and possess extensive experience with cold callingfounders and csuite executives to generate an effective acquisitionfunnel.
- Strong communication skills withconfidence in presenting to Csuite executives and businessowners.
- Experience working in M&A softwareor technology is considered anasset
- Familiarity with Salesforce is anasset.
