Our team, based in Montreal, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with product owners and stakeholders to analyze and support multiple trading platforms.

This role could be is open to Toronto or Montreal based candidates.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, and development teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions;
• Analyze and document solutions that will enhance trading systems and other related applications within the organization;
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business processes related to trading systems.
• Ensure data reliability and validity by collaborating with internal and external customers.
• Align systems with long-term business strategies;
• Maintain and prioritize user stories to be added in the backlog;
• Describe Business needs and exigence;
• Work with the developer team to determine the best business solution;
• Work with the QA team to validate the test plan;
• Ensure the feature is deployed as designed.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, process design, and data management;
• Excellent knowledge of trading systems and operations, particularly in the Canadian marketplace;
• Strong working knowledge of Confluence / JIRA suite;
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English is required;
• Experience with SQL and deriving value from large datasets.
