Yard Forklift Operator - Sit Down Counterbalance

Our client, a building material distributor, is in search of a skilled and certified Yard Forklift Operator. The successful candidate will work both in the yard and inside the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.

The operator will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift to load and unload flatbeds, as well as handling shipping, receiving, and customer service tasks.

Wage : Starting from $21 to $22 per hour

Schedule : Day shifts

Responsibilities

Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift in a yard setting

Load and unload building materials, such as drywall, onto flatbed trucks

Perform shipping and receiving duties

Carry out other warehouse responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a yard operator

Valid forklift certification required for this position

Background in picking, shipping, and receiving

High attention to detail

Customer service-focused
