Incomplete applications will not be considered. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)-Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- BScN preferred.-Current BCLS certification.-Current Certification in Venipuncture.-2 years recent surgical experience within the past 3 years.
- Health teaching skills that demonstrate broad surgical nursing know ledge.-Excellent computer skills.-Member of RNAO preferred.

- Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, involving the patient and family.
- Act as a liaison for patients / families with members of the health care team.-Work collaboratively to identify and implement process improvements to better meet the needs of patients and families.
- Maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.-Participation in various hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
