POSITION OVERVIEW
As a world leader in the tire manufacturing industry, Hankook Tire Canada is seeking a self-motivated experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our successful Marketing team in Mississauga, Ontario immediately.
The Marketing is responsible for providing reports, analytics, and business insights to supervisor, director of the department and various business and product managers, and to assist them in better understanding the marketplace and in making proactive decisions.
The new hire will report to the Marketing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of data models
- Assist in the design, testing and implementation of market surveys
- Assist in collecting and analyzing market information and trends
- Research market price about competitors and analyze our price level in market
- Research products in market and make a competitive strategy for our products
- Support promotional planning, execution, and measuring the effectiveness
- Create / maintain reports tracking KPIs and overall sales progress
- Manage product specification sheet / customer database and ensure the list is up to date
- Develop reports and presentations on the market forecast and external economic factors
- Participate in and contribute to project and team meetings, interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments, as appropriate, to understand specific requirements
- Assist ad-hoc data or reporting requests
- Any other duties / responsibilities may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- College / University graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines
- At least 2 years relevant experience in the tire industry or the automotive industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneDrive
- Familiarity with SAP an asset
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel with functions and data visualizations
- Team player with exceptional work ethic
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Superior time management and organizational skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative with good initiative
- Superior customer-relation manners and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Accuracy, follow-through, and fine attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently on several projects concurrently, and possess excellent communication, organizational and creative thinking skills
