Join Our Team as the Project Manager for the Fraser River Tunnel Project!We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join the Technical team on the Fraser River Tunner Project.
In this role, you will be pivotal in managing project activities, overseeing the contract costsf for Owner's Engineers and Technical Advisors, and ensuring successful delivery of the project by coordinating with the Province, technical contractors, and project partners.

Free travel insurance for full-time employees.Key Accountabilities : Oversees the tracking of project activities and action items, monitors project progress and reports out on scope schedule, risks and changes.
Supports the project’s environmental assessment and regulatory process portfolio from a technical perspective.Manages the communication, meetings, agendas, and materials between stakeholders including project partners and the Province.
Supports technical contract management by developing, implementing, monitoring, and updating work plans that define scope, key deliverables and schedules.
Manages a tracking system to ensure all project initiatives, deliverables, communications, reporting and submissions are documented and progressed.
Identifies risks (including schedule, budget, and regulatory) and escalates for development of proactive and reactive mitigation strategies.
Represents the project in technical discussions regarding submissions and project deliverables.Prepares summary reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
Implements project management principles, as well as monitors and reports on progress towards shared project objectives.Establishes and maintains collaborative cross-discipline and project partner relationships, as well as coordination of project related activities.
Manages meetings, presentations, plans, budgets, reporting, progress, and change management, maintaining engagement with key Provincial stakeholders.
Oversees invoice processing, resources, scope definition, schedule and deliverable tracking related to technical contract management.
Contributes to drafting and consolidating submission responses as required.Represents the Project in technical discussions to track actions, coordination and deliverables.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to understand key challenges and problems.
Assimilates complex problems, analyze pros and cons of alternative options and recommend solutions to project executiveQualifications : Post secondary education in business administration, communications or planning and considerable related experience in project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PMP certificate or designation is an asset.Demonstrated ability to navigate, manage and successfully deliver work across complex project structures and / or integrated teams.
Experience analyzing potential issues and developing solutions to mitigate impacts.Detail-oriented and able to handle the demands of a fast-paced Project with deadline pressures and evolving needs.
Preference may be given to applicants who have experience with advanced planning stages of major infrastructure and / or rapid transit projects.
Ability to work independently.Experience involving a diverse range of project portfolios, schedules, and milestones.Experience with principles, methods, practices, and terminology associated with planning, design, engineering or construction activities on a large infrastructure project would be considered an asset.
Document control knowledge with records management experience.Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Experience with issues management and the ability to anticipate and evaluate emerging matters, and to create feasible and cost-effective solutions to support identified gaps.
Experience and proficiency working with the MS Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and SharePoint.
Demonstrated ability to work with variety of project stakeholders with often competing priorities.Note : You must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
