Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience

Masters in Physiotherapy :

Graduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy.

College of Health and Care Professionals :

Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Physiotherapist.

Canadian Physiotherapy Association :

Membership Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).

Physiotherapy Standards :

Knowledge of current Physical Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Driver’s License :

Valid BC Driver's License.

Skills And Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Observe and assess clients and patients.

Demonstrated ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.

Demonstrate sound judgment, tact and empathy.

Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts, including co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, and families.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
