My client are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team at a leading player in sustainable technology innovation.

Responsibilities :

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing electrical and control aspects of my clients' revolutionary products.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Designing electrical layouts, selecting control components, and programming systems for standalone functionality.
• Supporting the build of test equipment and products, ensuring manufacturability.
• Reading, interpreting, and creating circuit diagrams, drawings, and electrical code specifications.
• Supporting field installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and control wiring, equipment, and PLC programs.
• Troubleshooting components and systems, providing repair and maintenance support.
• Developing automation and instrumentation-related designs, drawings, and programming specifications.
• Providing innovative solutions for electrical and controls component breakdowns.
• Ensuring milestones in product assembly and service are met on time.
• Ability to progress long term into Chief Electrical Engineer

Preferred Experience / Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in electrical engineering, automation, process equipment installation, wiring, commissioning, and service.
• PLC programming experience with ladder logic, function block, Siemens PLCs.
• HMI / SCADA programming experience with Scada software.
• Experience in the Hydrogen and / or natural gas industry.
• Knowledge of hazardous area codes and standards.
• Previous experience directing and working closely with industrial electricians.
• Proficiency in CAD systems.
• Familiarity with quality management and ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng. designation required.
• Experience working with gases - hydrogen preferred but not required
