System and network administrator

I'm Clémence, recruitment and business development consultant at FED IT, a recruitment agency specializing in IT professions.

I work on two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent.

All our consultants are IT experts who speak your language and work in your environment. We cover IT, development, business intelligence and infrastructure.

I'm currently looking for a System and Network Administrator for my client in downtown Montreal. This is a temporary position, 20h / week, for 3 months, in hybrid mode.

• Participate in network design, implementation and maintenance;
• Provide general network and IT support on the organization's operating systems;
• Maintain stable and consistent connectivity on all network computers;
• Identify, track, document and analyze incident or problem resolution activities;
• Maintain network servers and associated hardware, software, services and settings;
• Recommend, test and implement system and security upgrades;

The following skills are needed :

• Server management (VMware, Windows, Linux)
• Network management (Cisco Firepower, F5 BIG-IP)
• Cloud infrastructure management (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
• Endpoint Management (Intune, Jamf, Endpoint Central)
• Vulnerability management (Tenable Nessus)
• Monitoring Tools (Zabbix, Splunk)
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field;
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a network, system or security administration role;
• Experience in an MSP or financial institution appreciated
• Professional certification, such as CISSP, CCNA or CCNP, a major asset
• Bilingualism French - English required
