ca / careers. The OpportunityWe are currently looking to fill three Part-Time Permanent Personal Support Worker (PSW) roles - internally called Support Service Attendants - for our Outreach Program.

We are looking for one in each of the following areas : East area Toronto, Central area Toronto, West area Toronto. Starting wage is $21.

79, inclusive of the $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients.

The wage enhancement does not apply to training, travel and paid leave.Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle requiredRoles and responsibilities Assists clients in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with individual service plans and with March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures : Personal careLifts and TransfersRising / retiringBowel and bladder proceduresMeal preparation and feedingRange of motion exercisesOther light housekeeping duties Performs duties in a professional manner, which respects the dignity and right to privacy and maintains consumer and staff health and safety.

Qualifications and experience High School graduate or equivalentCurrent Standard First Aid and CPR certificationExperience working with people with physical disabilities, experience / knowledge / understanding of Independent Living or Consumer based care.
