Job descriptionProvide expert advice and recommendations to Transit IT leaders to develop roadmaps and frameworks for the cost-effective management and sharing of Transit applications and information across organizational lines and systems Help the business understand and gather requirements for the integration of Transit applications related to the initiatives above Provide architecture documentation including high-level system architecture diagrams, integration architecture (CAD, Hastus, YMS, SAP, M5, etc.), data flow diagrams, interface specifications, technical standards, and design principles Participate in the integration and development of new Transit applications with existing systems, providing consultation expertise and feedback Provide technical input for RFPs, procurement, vendor evaluations, and review and approval of vendor designs Contribute to system integration deliverables by developing integration strategies and roadmaps, API specifications, mapping documents, and Integration Control Documentation Review and provide input on testing procedures as required Participate in technical validation of vendor API designs and support integration testing and acceptance Support planning and implementation of software changes required for integration Develop non-functional requirements including performance, security, and scalability, and provide gap analysis, technical feasibility assessments, and recommendations for technology platforms and tools Provide advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and database administration support for legacy in-house applications not resolved by Tier 1 or Tier 2 support Define cloud and on-prem hosting requirements and deployment architecture Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada 15 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and Design 10 years of experience in requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and deployment using SDLC methodologies 5 years of experience in Windows or Web-based .NET development and object-oriented design 5 years of experience in database development using Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase, including data modeling and database design Ability to provide details on three relevant projects of similar scope completed within the past five years Experience with Docker, including container image creation, lifecycle management, and architectural integration Experience with Clever Devices solutions, specifically CleverCAD deployment or support Experience implementing the Giro Hastus suite of products Experience with AssetWorks (M5) planning, design, or implementation Experience with the Hastus Transit Management suite
Adecco is currently recruiting a Senior Architect Consultant for a 1-year contract with our client in Ottawa, ON. This is primarily an onsite role with the possibility of hybrid work.
- Salary : $130,000-$150,000 per year
- Location : Ottawa, ON
- Schedule : Monday to Friday | 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
- Employment Type : Full time
