Description :

• Participatein business requirementswalkthroughs.
• Analysisof business requirement documents and liaison withclients.
• Developmentand design of new programs or enhancements to existing ones(environment : IBM Mainframe COBOL and DB2 occasionalIMS).
• Creation andwalkthrough of Systems Response documents Technical Specificationsand ImplementationPlans.
• Coding ofpayment programs including new andexisting.
• Preparationof test plans test data and unittesting ofprograms.
• Preparationof implementation plans and promotion ofprograms.
• As assignedresponse to client queries and troubleshooting of productionincidents.
• Updates tokey knowledge transfer documents such as the Claims Systemdocumentation and the Overview of Architected PaymentSystems.
• Conduct / participatein design walkthroughs as well as test case and test resultswalkthroughs.
• Supporttesting of the changes by other teammembers.
• Weeklyreporting on status progress and key issue / concerns as directed bythe Project Lead or Sr. ProjectManager.
• Transferskills and knowledge to selected OPSstaff.
• The resourcemay be required to do similar work related to the role for otherinitiatives within PRS as directed by themanager.

• Experienceas a COBOL developer in an MVS environment writing programs thataccess DB2 and IMSdatabases

• Experiencewith one or more platforms including the operating system databasetechnology communication protocols middleware andgateways
• Experiencedeveloping or maintaining large scale IT systems includinghighvolume batchprograms
