We are supporting one of our customers in the manufacturing sector, located in the Laurentians, in their search for a production planning specialist.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Plan (MPP).
- Define procurement strategies, in conjunction with the procurement department.
- Monitor parts availability and make up plans.
- Plan, release and monitor progress of production orders.
- Coordinate activities with other departments
- Coordinate change management activities.
- Update sector performance indicators
Qualifications :
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment

- Resourceful and self-reliant
- Organized and rigorous
- Results-oriented
- Continuous Improvement
- 5-8 years experience in production planning
- DEC or other relevant diploma
- Knowledge of ERP (INFOR suite is an asset)
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Bilingualism (spoken and written)
- APICS certification an asset

- Communication with international customers
- Collaboration with English-speaking partners
- Drafting documents in English
PROCESS : Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
