Position Overview : We are seeking a strategic and visionary Director of HR Business Partnering to lead our HR Business Partner (HRBP) team and HR Generalists across the organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of People & Culture, the Director will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5+ HRBPs and HR Generalists who support various divisions including National Office, Clinic Operations, Medical Assessments, and Seniors Wellness.

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive HR initiatives, build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and contribute to the overall success of Lifemark Health Group.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the HRBP team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Oversee the delivery of HR services and support to all divisions, including employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives to support a positive employee experience and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity.
  • Collaborate with the HR leadership team to digest HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop HRBP team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Manage HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role overseeing HRBP teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, organizational development, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and regulatory requirements in Canada.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or related industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
