Job Description
The Senior Consultant role at Merkle Cardinal Path is designed for people who have exposure to digital analytics implementations and want to grow existing skills and learn new skills.
Areas of experience include (but are not limited to) interpreting business metrics into a tagging design, configuring, and debugging a tagging container, or helping non-technical clients understand their data capture environment.

You will work with industry experts and world class clients. We will teach you our implementation methodologies which will be accomplished through shadowing, training, and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities :
- You will evaluate our goals from multiple business teams and develop tracking / tagging strategies to allow individuals and teams to measure success
- You will work with our client and their agencies consulting on projects requiring web analytics platform selection, implementation, and platform remediation
- You will install, configure, and debug web analytics services such as Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and others
- You will lead a team with site tag implementation, custom rules development, and use data layer elements for analysis through best-in class Tag Management Solution platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium
- You will lead the development of implementation documentation for client developers that details page code requirements and data layer details to support shared business analysis needs
- You will provide oversight of quality assurance tests on tracking implementations
- You will provide best practices consulting services to our clients in solving their web analytics platform strategy and technical needs
- You will partner with multiple teams within our client's organization and outside the company to ensure that best practices in metrics are being exposed to our client management and core website decision makers
- You will conduct platform training and knowledge sharing in web analytics for clients and the project team
- You will deploy and test analytics tools in mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, especially using the Firebase SDK
- You will work in development environments for building iOS or Android apps, including XCode and Android Studio
- You will work with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java programming languages in the context of mobile applications
- You will need to be available during AST, EST, PT or CST hours as many of our clients are in the Eastern, Pacific, or Central time zones
- You will report into the Manager, Analytics Implementations
- You will contribute to our approach to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Google Analytics Individual Qualification OR Adobe Certified Expert : Implementation
- Minimum 4 years on-the-job experience implementing web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Minimum 2 years' experience with web development
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and web protocols
- Minimum 4 years' experience with at least one Tag Management Solution such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch or Tealium iQ
- Comfortable presenting findings and providing training on analytics tool usage
- Experience with tag auditing tools such as Fiddler, Charles, DataTrue, and WASP
Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience.
