Cost Manager - Commercial Management and Procurement Services

Job Description

Arcadis is currently seeking a Cost Manager to join our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA) in Canada.

We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving.

We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a team providing advisory services to clients during the pre-construction and execution phase of major capital construction projects.

Your work will contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on procurement strategy
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Measurement and cost planning
  • Post contract administration
  • Undertaking benchmarking exercises
  • Supporting optioneering and value engineering activities

Qualifications

  • Experience in design build project environment
  • Experience of progressive procurement routes
  • Training in contracts or legal matters
  • Proficient in drafting and executing commercial terms and conditions, with a good understanding of legal implications
  • Experience on large construction sites
