Toromont Cat is looking for a Shop Technician, Heavy Equipment to join our team! As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for servicing a particular line of Caterpillar equipment and components in our shop.
Your day will include planning, trouble shooting and repairing, as well as, preparing necessary service reports for customers.

In a typical day, YOU will :
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
- Repair and service Caterpillar and all heavy equipment within the established standards
- Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner
- Maintain excellent customer relations through frequent communication
- Undertake assignments as required in support of customer needs
Must-haves for this role :
- Minimum post-secondary education
- A valid Technician License Heavy Equipment Technician 421A license relative to this position, following Provincial standards
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a Technician
