Reporting to the Superintendents, the Coordinator will work within a team responsible for timber development and delivery activities.
Our Coordinators enjoy a balanced mix of field and office work while living in the Quesnel community.
Planning Coordinator
As a Planning Coordinator, you would be working in a team environment and independently to achieve timber reconnaissance and development, operational planning and permit acquisition, First Nations and government liaison, public referrals, and contract supervision.
This position requires a dynamic, forest management / harvesting career-minded individual with excellent organization, communication and computer skills.
Operations Coordinator
As an Operations Coordinator, you would be responsible for contractor logging and hauling supervision, log quality, harvest inspections, road construction and maintenance.
Additional responsibilities include First Nations and government liaison, public referrals monitoring, contractor compliance with Safe Operating Procedures, ISO and SFI certifications and health and safety programs.
Qualifications
- Along with a relevant degree / diploma, the applicant must have related forestry experience and possess an RPF or RFT designation, or be eligible to earn this designation in BC.
- Be self-motivated and team oriented.
- Have demonstrated commitment to safety and responsible forest stewardship.
Compensation Package :
- The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $68,000 and $90,000.
- Annual bonus opportunity.
