RoleOverview :

Our client is seeking a skilledAssociate to join our wellestablished Mechanical Engineering firm.In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting ourcompany's goals and vision ensuring clients receiveexceptional service and highqualitydesigns.

KeyResponsibilities :

• ClientRelations & BusinessDevelopment :
• Developand nurture new and existing clientrelationships.
• Actively pursue andfoster new businessopportunities.
• Contribute tobusiness development efforts including marketing and clientengagement.
• ProjectManagement :
• Overseeand manage Mechanical engineering projects of varying sizes andcomplexities.
• Analyze designproposals and specifications to provide costeffectivesolutions.
• Ensure professionalquality services and guide assignedpersonnel.
• Leadership&Mentoring :
• Mentor andsupport Mechanical Designers Engineers and ProjectManagers.
• Assist withrecruitment training performance evaluations and staffdevelopment.
• AdministrativeDuties :
• Manage daytodayproject activities and adhere to criticaldeadlines.
• Handle quality andcost control during design and constructionphases.
• Write proposals foradditional services and ensure client approval before starting newwork.
• FinancialManagement :
• Overseeproject budgets invoicing and reporting ensuring profitability andcost control.
• Address work inprogress (WIP) and additional services asrequired.
• PerformanceMetrics :
• Achievebusiness development goals maintain existing accounts and securenew business.
• Manage a portfolio ofprojects meet deadlines and maintain high clientsatisfaction.
• Ensure efficient useof billable hours and achieve a 75% utilizationrate.
• ProfessionalDevelopment :
• Completeat least 30 hours of professional developmentannually.
• Obtain relevantprofessional certifications (P.ENG P.L.ENG P.TECH) to sign and sealdocuments asrequired.

Qualifications :

Proven track record ofsuccessful and profitable projectdelivery.

High client satisfactionleading to repeat business andreferrals.

Effective communicator withtechnical professional and managementstaff.

Strong interpersonalleadership and organizationalskills.

Advanced negotiation conflictresolution and diplomaticskills.

Knowledge of financialmanagement related to project invoicing work in progress and staffutilization.
