The Content Strategy & Experience team in Customer Technical Success (CTS) ensures high-quality product expertise is delivered to customers as they learn, adopt, and use Autodesk's platform through impactful content experiences.

To accelerate on our journey of delivering a world-class experience and supporting users of all sizes across industries, we are looking for a dynamic Technical Content Development-Principal responsible for managing a catalog of product support content for Autodesk supported industries.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Content Strategy & Experience, in this role, you will oversee the content development practice for customers and partners, design integrated omni-channel audience-centric content plans, accomplish tasks to improve content, and collaborate across teams to improve support content experiences that drive customer success.

You will meaningfully contribute to our evolving product support strategy to ensure our customers realize the full value of our products.

Hybrid role, located within commuting distance of office in Montreal, Barcelona, or Bangalore.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to identify needs using analytics, customer feedback, and business objectives, and determining product support help and learn audience-centric omni-channel content plans across the post-purchase journey
  • Support building strategies, frameworks, and templates determining ways we work in the technical content development practice
  • You will design and implement programs to match customer needs with appropriate content formats and distribution channels, ensuring positive, meaningful interactions with our products and services, while also enabling CTS to manage the full end-to-end content lifecycle, getting ahead of customer demand
  • Create, edit, and direct new content creation and improvements to increase consumption and findability of support content through digital channels
  • Review existing content to identify gaps and requirements for further development
  • Ensure the right content is available to all users at the right time, by getting ahead of customers demand, de-duplication of efforts, and content reuse
  • Manage new products content integrations and products rebrand
  • Determine goals for technical content development initiatives, monitor, learn, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing content effectiveness
  • You will guide and train CTS staff on best practices for content creation and improvements, aiming for efficiency and quality
  • Represent CTS at industry events internally and externally (Tech series, booth, product overviews)
  • You will build trust and authority across a network of peers, collaborators, and teammates through clarity, aligning on ideas and delivering on major outcomes
  • You will stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content strategy and Autodesk supported industries, and integrate relevant insights into the team and practice to foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years relevant work experience, especially in content management or content development
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing omnichannel audience-centric content plans with strong understanding of content strategy principles, including audience analysis, content mapping, and content lifecycle management
  • Experience with Autodesk supported industries
  • Solid project management experience managing cross-functional projects from ideation to conclusion with demonstrated ability to balancing big-picture vision with detailed approach, bringing simplicity and order to complex projects, driving progress and continuous improvement
  • Analytical and pragmatic approach, consideration of goals and stakeholders' priorities to achieve the right outcome for customers
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), authoring tools, and other relevant software applications
  • Understanding of customer success strategies and concepts
  • Experience implementing search engines (SEO) strategies an advantage.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) an advantage

  • Experience leading complex global projects with diverse team members, balancing strategic direction
  • Bring simplicity and order to complex projects and situations through prioritization and motivated implementation to achieve results.
  • University degree in Content management or related discipline

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $111,600 and $180,510.

Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
