Wolfond Financial is looking for an Experienced Administrative Financial Assistant to join our team. You will support a growing practice and a successful team of advisors.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare documents for advisors’ client meetings.
  • Process purchases, withdrawals, switches, and external transfers
  • Follow-up tracking on processed transactions with external fund companies.
  • Monitor trades, systematic withdrawals and preauthorized contributions
  • Investigate issues with fund companies, nominee platforms and the Canada Revenue Agency
  • File physical and electronic documents
  • Enter notes and process transactions in online system.
  • Process client signatures using e-signature software.
  • Follow compliance rules.
  • Monitor multiple emails.
  • Back-up office reception
  • Other office administrative support as needed

What you bring to the table

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Existing financial knowledge (i.e. RSP, TFSA, RIF, etc.)
  • Meeting advisors’ and clients’ deadlines
  • Demonstrated client service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Post secondary education in office administration or a related field, 1 to 3 years of job-related work experience, including managing and maintaining files, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
