About the work environment :

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home.

Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8 : 00am and 4 : 30pm with flexibility around start & end times.

About you :

As a Financial Analyst for Lending Products, you are experienced in FP&A who you’re whiz in end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.

You will support financial analysis of lending products within the company, collaborating with team members, and department leads to help drive sound decision-making.

You seek out new learning and growth opportunities, while working on multiple unique projects across different lines of business, involving elevated levels of critical thinking.

You are a forward thinking, strategic, and solutions-oriented finance and accounting professional with a strong work ethic and passion for learning and growth.

About the qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional certification in finance or accounting (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Financial modeling and valuation skills (including DCF, comps analysis, forecasting, etc.), an asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and financial planning tools.
  • Strong understanding of lending and credit principles, including credit scoring models and risk assessment techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

About the day-to-day :

  • Prepare reports and presentations to support decisions related to lending products, including pricing.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast loan performance, including cash flow projections and credit metrics.
  • Support the development of quantitative analyses including financial forecasting, valuation modeling, and strategic decisions (e.

g. invest / build / partner, etc.).

  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of practices and processes to promote operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with credit analysts to develop and refine credit policies and procedures.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to senior management and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in lending and credit analysis.

Annual Compensation :

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $80,000 and $90,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience that the chosen candidate possess.
