Job Title : Specialized IT Consultant - Senior (Remote)

Location : Remote (525 University Ave, Ontario)
Start Date : November 18, 2024
End Date : March 31, 2025
Hours : 7.25 hours / day, 5 days a week

Key Requirements :
- 5+ years in HL7 data exchange standards and terminology.
- 3+ years experience with FHIR standards and developing provincial data exchange strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Expertise in strategy development and data governance .
Responsibilities :
- Develop health data exchange strategy to support Ontario’s electronic health records (EHR) and data analytics.
- Conduct requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
- Perform analysis of existing services, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Align strategy with Ontario Health’s data governance and digital health initiatives.
Desired Skills :
- Familiarity with Microsoft products and cloud tools (e.g., Office 365).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with interoperable digital health solutions .
Evaluation Criteria (Total 100 Points) :
- HL7 FHIR standards design and implementation : 15 Points
- Development of FHIR implementation guides : 15 Points
- Provincial data exchange strategy and planning : 30 Points
- Interoperable digital health solutions : 10 Points
- Identifier management for health data exchange : 10 Points
- Knowledge of digital health standards : 5 Points
