Nursing Graduate Guarantee Program Nursing Opportunities
Temporary full time
The Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program is funded by the ministry to provide new graduate Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses with temporary full-time employment, above staffing complement, to support their successful transition to practice and into full time employment.
We are excited to take part in this program and support new nursing graduates transition into practice in the following areas / specilizations including Clinical Resource Team, Critical Care, Emergency, Medicine, Mental Health, Women and Child and Reactivation Care Centre.
What must you have?
- Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Nursing diploma or degree from a recognized college or university.

- Addressing and resolving issues in a productive, respectful manner.
- Exercising sound professional judgment and using best practice guidelines.

Eligible nurses must use the to register and create a profile.
- Visit the and register as a Nursing User.
- Apply for the various departments with Mackenzie Health.
- Complete the transition into practice period.
