About the Opportunity
Preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes for all operating companies; this includes posting journal entries, managing account reconciliations, intercompany transactions and accruals
Verify the accuracy and completeness of all financial data and resolve any discrepancies
Responsible for the distribution and understanding of all overhead departmental expenses
Act as the point person for all expense inquiries by stakeholders; this is crucial in discussing actual vs. budget departmental spend
Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends and variances for multiple subsidiaries
Daily cash flow
Weekly cash flow forecast
Daily bank reconciliation
Manage all fixed asset accounts and the asset database, ensuring each asset has proper documentation for when depreciation will begin
Work with Procurement on all asset disposals
Work closely with PMO to ensure all fixed asset accounts reconcile monthly to ongoing capital projects
Understand what makes up the budget and track how departments are spending vs. budget
Forecast capital spend and depreciation for the next fiscal year
Upload and reconcile budget figures
Work with external auditors to help facilitate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Help address any audit findings and implement corrective actions
Other duties as assigned
About You
CPA designation in good standing
Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Experience with financial reporting tools is a plus
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling
Salary Range
85,000 - $90,000 / year
