Are you a skilled Welder looking to lay down exceptional beads on some of Western Canada's largest commercial and industrial projects? We are a leading, fully integrated structural steel fabricator currently seeking top-tier welding talent. From high-tonnage steel structures for major airports to complex framing for high-rise residential towers and arenas, our shop handles it all.

With a massive backlog of continuous, large-scale projects scheduled well into 2027, you won't have to worry about layoffs here. If you pride yourself on clean, code-compliant welds and want to build structures that shape the skyline, we want you on our shop floor!

Advantages
High Earning Potential: Access to abundant overtime shifts to maximize your weekly paycheck and hit your financial goals.

Exceptional Job Security: A solid pipeline of confirmed commercial and industrial projects guaranteeing steady, year-round work through 2027.

Streamlined Onboarding: Experience a quick and hassle-free hiring pipeline so you can get under the hood and start earning sooner.

Industry-Leading Safety: Join a collaborative, solutions-based crew that prioritizes occupational health, hazard elimination, and mutual respect.

Career Advancement: Exceptional opportunities for 2nd and 3rd-year apprentices to gain practical, heavy-industrial experience and rapidly develop their trade skills alongside seasoned pros.

Responsibilities
Execute high-quality, multi-pass welds on heavy structural carbon steel components, including large-scale columns, commercial beams, and custom fabrications.

Ensure all welds strictly comply with engineered drawings, CWB codes, and rigorous internal quality assurance standards.

Operate advanced welding machinery alongside traditional manual equipment (comprehensive training provided for any robotic welding technologies).

Coordinate seamlessly with Fitters, overhead crane operators, and shop supervisors to ensure massive structural pieces move safely and efficiently down the production line.

Strictly adhere to all shop safety protocols, maintaining a clean workspace and participating in risk-elimination strategies.

Qualifications
Experience Level: Seasoned Journeypersons are highly preferred, though we strongly encourage driven 2nd and 3rd-year apprentices to apply.

Mandatory: Valid CWB FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) tickets covering all positions.

Proven experience working in a heavy structural steel, commercial fabrication, or industrial manufacturing environment.

A strong work ethic, exceptional punctuality, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Summary
If you are looking to advance your welding career in a secure, high-volume environment building iconic structures, we want to hear from you immediately! Don't miss out on securing your spot in this long-term project.
